Description
The Dawson’s Canadian Hemlock is new to our inventory and a little faster growing than most of our other Hemlocks. A great anchor point for an in ground miniature garden, the bright green needles arch gracefully out to form a sweet canopy. We are looking forward to watching this grow gradually into a full, bushy form.
Keep this in a part-sun (cool sun spot) or part shade to help maintain evenly damp soil. Pot should have drainage hole.
- Charming little tree shape
- Growth rate is 6 to 10″ per year (slower in a container)
- Broad upright shape
- Cold hardy to -30F or Zones 4 to 7
- Heat Zones 8 – 1
- Full, cool sun to part shade
- Regular water, don’t let the soil dry out completely
- Pot shown is 4 inches in diameter
- An outdoor plant
